Madison schools are celebrating the end of the school year and graduation ceremonies this week.
“Congratulations to all of our students for finishing a strong school year and especially to our graduating seniors,” Superintendent Jennifer Cheatham said. “We are so excited to celebrate the accomplishments of our students, teachers and all of our school communities.”
“We have worked hard to be incredibly focused this year because ultimately, we believe that our path to success —the path to closing opportunity gaps and seeing the best results for all children – depends on our ability to stay focused and follow through on our strategy as a district with tenacity and determination. Thank you to our teachers and all of our staff who have done that hard work this year.”

Families are also invited to send their graduation photos or videos, along with graduates’ dreams for their future to email@example.com. Photos and videos will be posted on social media as the district celebrates 2015 graduates.
Graduation ceremonies will take place at the Kohl Center on Friday, June 13 and Saturday, June 14. On Friday, East High School will hold its graduation at 5pm and La Follette High School at 7:30pm. On Saturday, Memorial High School’s ceremony will be at 10:30am and West High School will be at 1pm. All ceremonies are open to the media.
