Sessions Aim to Educate Community Ahead of November 8 Vote

The Madison School District will hold two informational sessions in October aimed at educating the community about the November 8 referendum. The sessions will be held at La Follette High School on October 13 and Memorial High School on October 27.

Both sessions will include a presentation at 6:30pm, followed by question and answer from attendees, as well as questions submitted through social media. Questions will be answered by a panel of district representatives including Superintendent Jennifer Cheatham, board members and district staff.

The school district’s referendum will appear on the back of the November 8 ballot. Both sessions will also be live on Facebook. Community members are also welcome to submit questions to or through the district’s social Facebook or Twitter accounts.

Light refreshments will be provided at each session. To request childcare, interpretation or transportation, email
