Special events planned leading into the school year
The Madison School District, the Madison Mallards, Dane Dances! and the 100 Black Men of Madison invite families, students, teachers and community members to celebrate Madison’s public schools as the start of the school year nears. Three events are planned in August to celebrate Madison’s excellent students, educators and those who support them.
“We have outstanding students, excellent staff and an engaged and supportive community,” Superintendent Jennifer Cheatham said. “As we prepare for the next school year, we’re excited to come together as a community to celebrate our students and all those who support them in being successful. We hope you’ll join us for these special events in the community.”
