Purposes of a brochure may include:

  • explaining a program or service
  • answering frequently asked questions about your organization
  • offering more specific information
  • telling the reader how he or she can find out more about your program

When developing a brochure keep it simple! Write concisely and clearly. Here are some tips:

  • Keep sentences short and do not use jargon
  • Avoid redundancy
  • Use correct spelling
  • Use the active voice
